    I carried a 2# body and 3# lens in AK. More often than not anymore in the field I just use my iPhone. But, I often carry my DLSR and a couple lenses in the pickup for "good" pics once something is down, end of the day, sunrise/set, etc.

    If you go diesel, take it easy on your motor (turbo) until it's warmed up. Take your time getting up to speed if the motor and transmission are cool/cold. Don't idle it a bunch. Buy fuel from busy stations that go through lots and keep it reasonably fresh. Swap your fuel filters...

    Only shortcoming of the Lee Load All is if you want to run the ammo through a semi-auto you have to also have a sizer for the brass. Beyond that, they're about as simple as a shotgun press can be.

    Not in my opinion it's not. That's about going rate all-day any-day. Additionally, after having had a few, I don't like the 4.5-14 Leupold without some manner of parallax adjustment, it get's "fishbowly" @ 14x.

    I plugged the air-cleaner of my 6.7L PSD w/snow after a 2Mi "hammer-down" in soft fluffy but deep snow. Had to stop, clean out the air-box, ditch the air-cleaner and foam pre-treater in order for the Turbo to nab enough air to add boost again.

    Benefit of the doubt, perhaps the driver was fighting some sort of traction-control/anti-sway system? It wouldn't surprise me to learn that there's systems you cannot fully disengage, especially if it senses something plugged into the round 7.

    There's got to be a "manual" mode for the transmission. I'd have found the wheel-speed and rpm I wanted and held a gear. I'd much rather hold the motor at or near redline RPM for 2-mi than have all that shifting going on.
