Forgot a net and electric fillet knife at the Van Hook cleaning station Friday evening. If you or someone you know found it I would appreciate it back. Had a little hope there was still some decent people in this world who would of just turned it in at the store.
Ask 10 different people and you'll get 10 different answers. Personally I don't do a ton of it but I run 2 set ups with a little mono backing and I measured off like 10' is all and then tied that to my leadcore so it had a good bite to the reel. I then on the business end have a super small...
Looking at doing a briskit myself and have never done one before. Curious if you cut a majority of your fat off your piece of meat? About how long does it take to cook one? I've been you tubing a lot on briskits and seeing some cutting a majority of the fat off and others leaving it and cutting...
I doubt the erosion control material will hold up to the folding and unfolding multiple times over and over personally. Also i wouldn't go 70MPH down the interstate with it either. It may hold together but your probably going to loose some straw. My thought was to put it on close to where its...
no floor. just made a box out of 2x4's to screw the plywood to and staple the tarp and straw netting to. Windows are framed out with 2x2's. It does not fold up.
Sorry don't have pics but if I do another one I'll take some and put them up. Basically its a spin off of the old plywood ice houses. Two pieces of plywood on the ends. 2x2's between them covered with a heavy duty tarp and an erosion control blanket. Like I said if I make another I'll take more...
I have one in 300 WSM with a limb saver on it and its not pleasant to shoot at all. Got it as an elk gun and its nice and light but finding a handload in it sucked. FYI i couldn't get much to group out of it at all when i first got it. did the dollar bill trick between the barrel and stock, and...
Bought a Cuddieback camera. Takes great pics just has way too many false triggers. Like ridiculous. 2600 pics in 3 days ridiculous. Anyone now if there is a way to change the settings on these things. Yes there is nothing in front of it to trigger it. Yes it is strapped to a big enough tree so...
those look like TSX's am I correct? If so you had better luck on an elk than my buddy did. I believe his went straight through and never expanded good and he was shooting a 338 win mag and like a 225gr bullet at 75 yards.
For my browning A-Bolt it was 140gr tsx and 70.5gr of Retumbo. My Browning X-Bolt Long Range Hunter on the other hand has been a fussy one. I got one group that was amazing with 150 ttsx's and 4831 but tried to repeat it and it wasn't even close.
