    Dozer just came and opened the boat ramp and not 20 minutes later a boat launched. Nothing happening from shore.

    Found the eyes in 7-10’. Too bad they are goldeyes. Ice is 3+’ and no open water across the whole stretch. Gonna be ice fishing the lakes til may.

    I have never fished stink lake before. Is there fish all through the lake or do people mainly just fish a certain part of it? I was interested in trying the section south of the railroad track but assume most people fish the large part north of it.

    Am I scared of getting it and being sick/dying? Not really. The thing that is scary is how it seems to have long term effects on your body. I don’t want to end up with a heart condition that doesn’t allow me to exert myself to what I’m accustomed to for the rest of my life.

    Lake geneva

    Tried to do a report but couldn’t figure it out on my phone. Fished 12-530 yesterday. Started on the east side of the lake and fished anywhere from 5.5-12.5’ between about 15 holes with no success. Moved back the the west at 3 and immediately marked some fish. Ended up catching 8. Kept 5...

    I always have better luck ice fishing in the winter than summer. Damn 80 degrees make it tough going!

    Owls pond. Plain small treble with minnows. Single hooks work but you’ll kill a lot.

    Not sure about mcdowell. I think it may be due to hazardous ice conditions. Owls gets the job done but I think the little guy would like to keep a couple fish once in a while.
