Hard to blame Koc when the qb couldnāt hit the inside of the barn standing in it and stands like and statue with no clue how to throw the ball he missed so many open receivers herbstreet got tired of pointing it out last night. Hopefully they dropped him off in Bismarck on the flight home.
I usually agree with your takes, this one mostly not. I do blame KOC and I do blame Flores.
I'm over the QB whisperer talk - maybe he should focus and be a QB coach instead. He's clearly not a good play caller or he would've gotten Wentz some quicker hits to Hock, moved the pocket, stopped the 5 and 7 step drops.
Flores apparently has TOO complicated of a defense and can't get drop the ego to find something that works with the personnel he has on the field. It's always "he needs specific player types for his defense to work, guys are still learning the scheme, it takes time". Sorry, it's the NFL - you hardly ever have the players you think you're going to have out there due to injury.
The ultimate give-up yesterday was leaving a crippled Wentz on the field instead of bringing in Brosmer. Carson couldn't even get up off the turf half the time and his left shoulder injury was definitely a problem while throwing. I do blame Wentz for his indecisiveness and inability to sense pressure, but playcalling was of NO help at all. Wasn't expecting Brosmer to be a miracle, but I have to believe he could've avoided some of those sacks. Oh, and he had two functional shoulders.
Last night was pathetic and embarrassing.
