I've got three 3/4 ton diesels. A dodge and two rams. Diesel in my pickups is the least of my concern. Its the tractors I run that really sucks and I missed my oppurtunity this spring to contract fuel for like 2.50 per gallon thinking it would get cheaper, then the Iran war kicked off and I was to late.
I drove damn near to Rapid City last week and back again. 730 miles round trip, averaged 18 mpg but have a 50 gal tank. Made it back home on one tank of fuel and could have drove further.
