    Tried the baking method last night and not sure I like it. Got a few "burn" spots on the whites. Maybe cooked too long or my oven runs hotter then the dial? Just cosmetic, seems to be way simpler then boiling might keep experimenting.

    Which makes zero biological sense because CWD prions can stay in the soil for decades just like anthrax. Their claim to ban baiting because of disease is complete and utter BS to cover up their ethical agenda.

    I'm guessing they wrapped the weights with the fillets to try to make them less noticeable while handling. Try to cushion them so to speak, a hard weight that size would be pretty easy to feel I would think.
