    Breaking in a new gun

I was researching this too when i bought my new AR this spring. Seemed like most competition shooters have a barrel breaking procedure, similar to what Big Iron said. Others said that a cheaper barrel can benefit more from break-in than a custom/high quality barrel will, like Suppress said. At...

I got my black dirt from Northern Improvement in south Bismarck. Like above, it was un-screened, but I really haven't had any issue with it.

Compost vs. Screen Black Dirt for Garden

I'd go a combination if possible. The straight compost will be too rich (or too hot) and have too much nutrient, while the black dirt might be just fine as is, but mixed with compost could be really good. Same with as mentioned above, if you can find some sheep manure or something like that...

    AR Scopes - Again

There was another thread a while back talking about AR scopes and what everyone is using, but technology has changed a bit over the last couple years. https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1362370420/leupold-mark-ar-mod-1-rifle-scope-15-4x-20mm-1-10-mil-adjustments-matte I am considering the...

    New boat

Kovash in moorhead has an 07 1890 with a suzuki 140 too. https://www.kovashmarine.com/used-inventory I have a buddy that has an 1890 with a 135 optimax, top speed is around 50. I would guess that a new 1890 with a 90 would be mid to upper 30's. They might be longer, but they are still a...

    Pickup tires

I've got the Falcon At3 on my tahoe, have 10k on them and they are fine. I blame the 13mpg on the AWD tahoe, not on the tires. Someone had mentioned that they spent $400 per tire for Nittos? The Tahoe is just a back and fourth to work vehicle, and boat towing, this set of falcons cost me $570 (4...

    Synthetic Motor Oils

I noticed that after i switched to Mobil 1, that the oil would darken very quickly. Now that i have been running it for a while and changing oil every 5k, it seems to be a lighter in color. I was a quaker state user previously. So the synthetic must dilute some of that sludge and mix it in with...
