    this big fat one was on hook and line too with walleye gear 8lbs test on a medium light rod if my memory serves me right, not a common carp but it was fun reeling in some line on something trying to pull me off the shore

    good chunks of public land up there for elk hunting, check out the Jay V Wessel land if no one is willing and able to give up private land, i know that in the past for sure they bring in bails for the elk there in the winter whether they still do that or not im not sure but i have coyote hunted...

    my wife will be staying in the safety of the pool bar she is a seasick car sick motion sickness kinda person she wouldnt be able to hack it.. red strip beer and red stripers for me hopefully!

    i think we will be doing just the anchor up deep sea and jig and catch lots of fish rather than just 1 or 2 trophy fish, im going for quantity not quality!

    Well I haven't been here before but looking at google maps I'm not finding a marina anywhere near our resort that I would even be able to go and check out. And 3 I'm gonna lie sounds like a hell of an adventure!

    so the charter that the resorts generally have are quite over priced you are saying? all these places i see online want reservations in advance, im sure they just want your money early i am assuming and there shouldnt be and issue with getting on a boat at some point in time out there?
