    I love seeing those sconies taking 4-6" perch out of Diamond by the bucket full.... there are a few good lakes you could try in the area. Not sure what's hitting now, but Green, Diamond, & Twin have all produced nice fish.

    Used to run into a carp or two a year in the McClusky Canal. brought a 12lber in on my ultra light 5' deadstick once. Ran up and down the road for a good 20minutes. Good fight, ugliest fish ever.

    I've noticed on mine if i leave it with the slide closed and a heavy wind driven rain comes on the slide side my carpet will be wet. If i leave the slide open that doesn't happen.... I still usually close it unless the weather is looking good.

    Haven't used any pellets other than GMG yet, but I was going to try some of the pit boss in my GMG. I like the idea of a lone piece of wood smoke (apple, hickory, pecan) rather than the GMG style of mixed bags (Gold blend, Fruitwood).
