    I would recommend going out of deepwater if you are fishing that southern end of the hook. The dock should be out now but when you launch the boat into the water go just to the right around the corner and the bank is steep and a good place to beach the boat for getting in and out.

    I don't recall the price but it was very affordable and offers all the protection you could want. Never had an issue driving 70+ down the highway.
