    Minnesota Bear

The hide was surprisingly in really nice shape, the groin was thin but they always are that time of year. I was really surprised on the number of bear this year. - - - Updated - - - The fat works real good on burns and cuts, really reduced the scaring. Also I have been told by many how good...

    Minnesota Bear

Got to experience another first this year bear hunting. I have been trying to get my daughter to come with bear hunting but has been reluctant to go. My son has shot a couple nice ones and rubs it into her a bit. Well she decided to come this year and we had a blast. She couldn't get off...

I'm fortunate to have had family members who...

    Camper Re-model

I was looking at buying a older one, so not sure the odds of finding an arctic package? We have a camper just nothing I want to pull hunting. Maybe a guy should put in a new larger tank?

    Camper Re-model

I've been kicking around getting an older pull-type camper and remodeling it into a hunting camper. Has anyone out there done this and if so what kind of changes did you do? If not, what do you think would be a good addition/deletion to make a camper more hunter friendly. With everything...

    Ballistic Gel

First attempt at making ballistics gel. Wasn’t hard, learned that I need a much bigger batch if I’m going to attempt this for a centerfire, cost under $10 to make. Shot my 9mm and 45 into it at about 10 yards, it did go through but didn’t really penetrate the dirt. Shot 12 rounds through it and...
