    Why do you reel left and right handed?

    I too am one of those special people who casts with the right hand, switch rod to left hand, and reel with right. No idea why. Then with ice rods I have no problem hold rod with right hand and reeling with left. Beats me!

    Hen of the Woods, Grifola Fondosa, actually has an extremely rich mushroom flavor and is amazing. Here it is, grows at the base of old living oak trees in the fall. They're out right now.

    Yeah you really have to do your research. Lots of youtube videos on identification. Once you get it though you never really forget and it becomes quite easy to identify safe edible mushrooms. And insanely delicious.
