    I switched a reel over to PP this spring. After a few days of spring fishing I threw it in the garbage. For whatever reason for me the hammer handles would cut that stuff like butter. I put on fireline like I've always used and had no more issues.

    I've used montecs forever. The hole is not big enough and blood trails suck. I've killed many animals but I want holes and blood like rage I'm switching. If u hit the shoulder u r screwed anyways. I would rather hit guts with a huge blade than a tiny 1" hole as well

    I've been to homer fishing and also to Sitka Homer is awesome. Sitka we caught a shit ton of silver and king salmon but the atmosphere is nothing like homer and it rained/fog the whole time Ocean fishing is 20 times better than river. I would rather fish the ocean for 1 day than the river...
