    Remote camera options

    Id like to get a remote camera also for my land. Theres a hill I could put it on that gives a view of my full 40 acres, but I want a camera that will use cell service, run off solar, has the ability to pan left and right and also zoom, preferably at least 4x optical. Any suggestions?

    being charged seems a bit extreme... I totally support confiscating the animal and a significant fine, but not sure this should be criminal, if it was supposedly an accident.

    Anyone snare rabbits?

    Cardboard pieces sprayed with water so they freeze stay in place pretty good, help direct the rabbit into the trap, seems to have worked fine. With all the snow I noticed they were eating my bushes already, now I get rabbit stew for dinner.

    Beef prices going up????

    Im getting a half from a friend for $3.65/lb hanging weight + processing, goes up every year, which I kinda expect. Not sure how that compares to what others are paying or charging out there but its good beef, consistently, which is nice.

    looks nifty but my buddy on low in my flip over is often too much heat already. I tend not to ice fish when its below zero, not sure I need something like this.

    Latest HR satellite images

    Google earth has been slacking lately, with better and better tech, I would expect they would update their images more often, but the last picture of my land is from 7/23 which Im a little irritated about. I would expect at least yearly updates, Im sure the pictures are available somewhere.

    my custom mix of granular is 60% MAP, 30% Urea, 10% ammonium sulfate, if I had it to do over though I would add 10% K and reduce the MAP by 10%. Maybe next time.

    For fertilizer, Im using Jacks Starter mixed 50/50 with urea, dissolved in hot water to make a concentrate, and then I dilute the concentrate using the dosatron when watering my garden and orchard using drip irrigation.
