    So what everyone seeing for crop maturity? Field by my place will be ready in a week or so especially if we stop getting an inch of rain every three days. Strangely enough haven't seen any geese flying yet but did see a brood of this year's mallards up a going last week.

    Well for those that like to chase gills the bulls are up on the beds and feisty as ever! Water is a little murky right now for some reasons so you can only see the 25% up shallow enough to be seen but there are tons of them anywhere there is a sandy bottom.     Well saw this sign down in apple creek bottoms. Willing to bet it's a bluff unless they are running trail cams since they would have had to run in a power source to run security cameras. Either way it's not a bad idea to help keep the stupidity to a minimum down there.

    Well it sucks for those up north the fires shure maid for a great sunset today. It also caused the longest dusk period which was great for fishing.
