    His mom was literally taking her son to the hospital to be committed. What else is a family supposed to do. It not like you can institutionalize people against their will anymore. That died in the 80’s. You can argue to bring it back but this is no way the fault of the family.

    Rods and reels are probably the highest profit margins other than clothing. You can only sell so many rods and reels which is why the rest of the store was tackle. Tackle profit margins is not the best which is why you see so many tackle shops close up their doors.

    Yeah I never used a leader a decade ago and still caught fish, but I never used hi vis line either. Still feel weird using hi vis. It’s so nice for jigging / snap jigging on finicky bites to see the line drop and hit slack.
