I live on a farm yard with a family of 4 and get mine pumped every 3-4 yrs. Not sure what kind of drain field you have, but use septic safe TP and ridex every 3 months or so and it should last quite a while with only 2 of you and not a year round inhabitance. Try not to flush anything that...
Mine had the great idea to paint the whole inside of the house before winter, walls and ceilings. I said go for it. She got as far as taking down all the pictures and stuff off the walls and covering up the dining room table. That was a month ago. Now I'm the bad guy.....
Just got home from working nights. Figured I might as well call in to confirm my switch from guard to active duty after I saw the second one hit. Was tough to get any rest that day.
Most recently for me is Northstar Performance. Ordered a stud kit for a cadillac and after a week without a tracking number I contacted them. Got the runaround for another week before I filed a dispute with paypal. Still took another week before they shipped the kit while trying to talk me...
One of the gals I work with had a relative on the boat. Some pretty serious injuries for those that survived. Thoughts and prayers go out to all involved. Definitely not a good lake to be on after dark no matter how much you think you know about it.
The kids and I drew preference points for next year. First time in a long time we haven't had a single tag. Guess I will get to shoot coyotes and be the camp cook this year.
I've been pretty lucky the last couple of years, so I'm not expecting anything for myself. I am really hoping my son gets drawn though since he has been turned down 3 times. To heck with it, I'm going fishing......
I did spot the auto bilge float switch although I'm not sure if it is working or hooked up since the bilge pump was stuck. I was able to get the pump working but the outlet pipe was cracked so I'm just going to get a new one. I will test out the switch when the new pump is in.
I was out shopping for the boat yesterday and there are quite a few different brands out there. Any advice on brands to go with or stay away from? Faulty pumps I had were 750 gph.
not exactly sure how much water it takes to fill a 20 ft boat an inch deep on the carpet, guessing a few hundred gallons. I was wondering if I would have enuf ass to get up on plane and get it drained but it did fine. It took about a 30 to 40 min boat ride to get it drained with the plug out.
What a great time and special thanks again to the KDM family! Lack of preparation was my demise. A cracked livewell pump and a stuck bilge pump was the culprit for my sinking ship and shortened fishing hours. Lesson learned for next year :) It was nice to see some familiar faces and meet...
Sounds like it's going to be a little windy tomorrow and not just from all the hot air from the participants. 20mph west winds should keep the mosquitos busy anyway.
