    Time Share Vacation Deals

Just curious if anybody has taken up an offer on a free stay at a resort if you listen to a timeshare presentation. I won a 2 night stay in Rapid City from the SD Tourism booth that was at the Minot Boat Show last month. I don't plan to purchase anything, but if they want to put my wife and I...

Where do you get your news?

I'm a fan of CBS morning and evening news. Nora is hot. It's probably the least bias, and they don't report on Kim K's Twitter feed. I also read the forum and Bismarck tribune.

    656 International Tractor

The Farmhand on my Dad's farm is a 656. It has what I think is a factory 3-pt. No can, but the tractor has been very reliable. I'm sure dad has put in a few clutches over the years, but it's been our farmhand tractor for 30yrs.

    Dumpin the Dip!!

I quit last fall. Here's what I did: Last fall I went on a week long fly-in bear hunt. I went up there with enough chew for a day and brought a gross of gum. After the chew was gone, I went to the gum. The week was too busy to think about chewing. I came back still craving a little, but...

    Garden?

For most things, wait until Mother's Day. Even then, you may have to cover them up. Remember last year was an early spring and we had a huge killing frost on May~20. If you don't want to cover, you can always gamble and water well at night. That's what the vineyards and fruit farmers do...

What keeps plastics on the Jig better??

Also when poring jigs with double molded bait keepers, it's very important to keep the mold piping hot. If the collars don't turn out right, the mold isn't hot enough. My jigs that have weird collars go in my live bait jig box.

What keeps plastics on the Jig better??

I make my own jigs. There are molds that have a wire insert and work great for holding onto plastics. Some molds have a double molded lead collar. They both work well. 1 molded collar doesn't work too well. I have tweeked some of my molds. I'll take a dremel and bore out a very thin area...

    Rod for pitching jigs

Spines are usually on one side. Some rods can have more. It's dependent on how the graphite overlays and the resin dries. The spine is the natural bend of the rod. Building on the spine removes blank twist. This increases sensitivity, cast distance, cast accuracy, and reduces breaks because...

    Best Spring Bobber

Rapala makes a good spring bobber attachment. It'd also titanium. I've had good results using this on ice rods I've built with a spring bobber. You can also tweak the sensitivity by moving the spring bobber up and down.

    TV recyclers

I dropped an old tube 32in T.V. off at Best Buy a few weeks ago. They don't take them anymore if they're that big. I went in a spoke with customer service and told them I had a t.v., printer, old cell, and few other things. I loaded up the cart with the t.V. at the bottom and piled the other...

    spinner storage

I do the pool noodles. They are cheap, float (if they go overboard), and I cut lengths to specifically fit in my rig box (Tupperware tub).
