    In the past ten years the river has became a zoo. The one thing that scary for me is a boat going past 50 mph or more and coming to close to another boat. It only takes a small move by the boat thats not moving to make a small problem BIG. Every year i wonder when someone is going to get killed.

    When working on the farm we had 20 or so cats in the barn (no mice around) but after a year there would be 100 of them. Only one way to thin the herd shotgun 8 shot. had to do it or chickens would start to disappear. Needed them around for the vermon or that got stupid. liked cats more then mice...

    If you run a boat wide open in big waves and beat the sh** out of it thats were you get rivets popping like that. funny you didn't split the hull. The dents around the missing rivets tells me this happen. I seen this in the governors cup on a windy day split hulls,caved in hulls mainly on smoker...

    I've seen boats damaged by coming off a trailer and the transom by the drain hole was dented bad enough you struggle to get the plug in. This boat looks to me to have sat on concrete or rock pile with wave action for a while. I wonder what shears off factory rivets like that on a 2014 boat ...

    Rumor has it a family was fishing the pool back in 90s. child drown in the canal thats when it happen. when i first was fishing nelson you could drive to the front gate tell them on the intercom that you were going fish and drive out on the canal fun times.

    The scoop nets we used, at times filled a 5 gal bail pretty quick. the water with the light on it was silver with smelt. the best time to eat smelt was fresh still kicking in the fry pan fresh. If you freeze them not as good.
