    moose population growing bigly

    Just my .02 while Bow hunting, have had deer nearby more than once. Moose barge loudly on the scene and the deer vanish. I don’t think deer like the loud buggars crashing the party. On days I see moose in my area I don’t see deer activity

    Never tried the feed pile. I hunt trails and funnels . Many years I don’t even pull the string back, but that’s how I like to hunt. I’ll never give up bow hunting until I’m too old to do it.

    How light is too light for a rifle?

    Bought my son t3 in 270 wsm. He was 14 at that time, 140lbs. Put a heavy Nikon monarch 5 x 20 scope on it. That really took the kick off of that thing plus a limb saver pad. It really does not kick anymore than my savage 270 With a smaller 3 x 9 scope after we did those two things. Easy to tote...

    Bison players kicked off football team

    it amazes me they have any time for shenanigans. Boy plays and 80% of the time they are too whipped from full time classes and workouts to do anything but eat and sleep. Sadly some can't keep it clean though.

    I work in the LP industry and I'm seeing propane cylinder fills about those prices per gallon right now. Propane market pretty strong nationwide.

    Military question

    Air Force 83-05. Best thing I ever did. Didn't have a clue what I wanted to do so I signed up thinking I would do 4 years. I needed discipline big time. Made me a better man. For me, it was the only way to go to college. I have a good job now in the civilian world because of the Military.

    Looking to upgrade to a electric ice auger, brand and size auger?

    I’ve never used mine without the plate in the two years I’ve owned it. Now that we’re hearing ouch stories, I don’t want to try it without. A lot of torque involved
