    I prefer baitcasters for trolling and spin casters for everything else. I have some of each at all times cuz you never know who you're gonna have on the boat and what they want to use. Yep, first rod was a zebco :)

    Power Pro for me. I can usually go for 3 or 4 seasons on a spool. Doesn't deteriorate as fast as fireline.

    Don't need a livewell unless your fishing no-kill tournaments. I hardly ever use my livewells for anything but storage. Grab a cooler and some ice or freeze a couple of 2 liter bottles of water to keepem cold. As for trolling motor, I wouldn't go less than a 24 volt 80lb.

    I agree that many at the cleaning station on Grahams Island have been confrontational or at least let out a groan and give ya the stink eye. They probably have been at a station where someone didn't clean up very well, either that or they have a little sand in the crotch.

    1998 Starcraft Pro Elite 2000 with 225 Merc EFI. Upgraded last year from Starcraft 170 superfisherman with a 90 Merc. Always wanted a little more leg room and a little smoother ride up on Devils lake.
