    It takes about 120 days to finish out. They are on grass and feed. Pigs need to be able to run and move around to get the muscle and fat combination for flavor. I sell them depending on the market value. I use Maple valley lockers in Enderlin N.D. for processing

    About the 1st of May I will be picking them up. They will be about 30lb feeders and butcher at about 260-280 lbs. The Boston Butts cut into Steaks are unbelievable. Best Bacon we have ever raised. So yes we could work something out. If anyone else is interested in some I have room for 8-10 Hogs

    I raised 4 Berkshires/Red Wattles and the pork is great. Best thing about hogs is you can buy as feeder pigs and feed them out in 120 days. And that was pasture/feed together. Best pork I have ever raised. Looking forward to raising somemore this summer.

    I have all my Tomatoes and Peppers growing in the house right now. Will get my Cucumbers started in the next week or so. I like to get a Month jump on the weather. I will have Tomatoes and peppers by late July.

    And you don't think a 60 yd is pure luck. I have shot lots of Bismouth and Tungstein Iron and Heavy shot and 60 yds is a long shot with all of them. And really a 60 yd shot is a normal shot. You must be hunting with some other guy on this forum.

    I would look for huntable number for at least 2 or 3 wks in N.D. I know a old farm that would write the sday he seen the first snow geese in his field and the average was April 8th.     Drilling holes must make a mess in the house unless your using slush buckets and that would get old if you move around much. It looks like there is maybe 6 inch from ice to top of floor. Must have to have a long trailer to put the house and 4 wheeler on. Or else put the 4 wheeler in pickup.

    I dont care if I only get 800 rds. I will never shoot out the barrel. As its a rifle I hunt Deer with. So it will last me a life time and if I do shoot it out it will cost me about 600.00 to rebarrel and im back shooting it again
