    I prefer Grande Canadian. Most of the newer high ends are aged for smoothness but IMHO they take the whisky taste out of them, too. Thing that frosts my ass is that some of my spendy whisky drinking buddies will preach the spirits virtues, then mix it with soda pop. You just ruined two good drinks.

    Retired at 65. No regrets except to maybe have left sooner. Scrimped in younger years and put aside as much as I could. It sure paid off. Have a great pension so no worries til I croak. No debts. Only bored when I want to be. Only problem, like Lbrant is that my wife is 8 years younger and...

    Why??????????

    Seems to me law enforcement did its job by citing this clown and getting him in front of a judge. Other than testimony in court, their job is done. Only the states attorney can drop the charges, not the cops. Not saying maybe they didn't screw up the case.

    SmokeHouse problem

    Sounds like your flame is starving for O2 creating soot. You might have to wide open your orifice or place an adjustable air vent towards the bottom of the smoker.

    Yeah, clarity is an issue on Sak, especially western Sak. I don't even bring the Marcum if fishing the big water. I save it for the smaller lakes and then it's iffy.

    Although uglier than a run over possum, Savage rifles, either 110 or 10, will shoot as well or better than the high priced stuff. Save your money for hookers and blow.
