    At the crack of dawn I thought it was a beautiful day.....but this is ND and I agree with you on the call. A guy could have put in a nice 3 hour fish trip somewhere from sunup to 9 or so by the time the wind decided to take over, providing no hangover involvement.

    I've been involved in a lot of tournaments but have never been involved in a "blow" day. Can a tournament angler go fishing on a blow day on waters OTHER than where the tournament is being held or fishing out of bounds on the same body of water????? Beats sitting around drinking beer doesn't it?

    I prefer being on the water just before the sun comes up, snapping a picture or two when it does get airborne and then getting the bait out for some action. Sometimes if i'm too early, i'll get the bait out first but that can screw up the timing of a photo op or two with biting fish.....
