    Lake Access Post Storm

Was at Audubon today, 12/17. Somebody plowed out the access to the Stumps. Couldn't get to the Nelson bay access on the road that runs along the south side as it was plugged between the Stumps and Nelson. Went back around to Coleharbor and went east from there. Had to break drifts to get to...

    First ice castle

What lake was this on. I was really hoping that this snow wasnt going to f up ice fishing for the rest of the year. With the cold temps next week it will build ice but is going to take a lot of ice to hold up all the snow we are getting.

    First ice castle

I welded nuts onto the low gear shaft on my winches and made an adapter with a socket on it to put on my ION head. Makes raising the ice house quick. A fan to circulate the heat back down to the floor. I run an electric space heater with the fan right above it most of the time instead of the...

    Emily Eckroth

I'm wondering how Sanford will handle this. Thinking that they dont want any negative press but they are getting it with her being one of their employees. I would turn and walk out if I went to a Dr appt and she walked into the room.

    Ice thickness

What is everyone seeing for ice thicknesses out there. South and sides of Audubon is 17-19" everywhere I drilled this weekend. Trucks and wheel houses everywhere. Buddy was fishing West Lake by Napoleon on Sat and said ice was 12", son was on Hobart Sat and ice was 11" on the north end.

Creel bay looks iced over now. Audubon with 7+ inches in the bays. Earliest I remember for years that we have had this much ice this early. I love hard water fishing.

    I need a seasickness solution

I worked doing offshore seismic for several years. Never got truly sea sick, just would get light headed and tired from time to time. Seen 40' seas during hurrican Mitch in Mexico and seen several coworkers that wanted to to die. The best advise is to eat strawberry jam or tappioca pudding...

Found cushion for front of boat

Found a grey cushion for the bow of a boat on Hwy 83 north of Bismarck. It is one half of a two piece cushion. Possibly out of a silver 620 Ranger being pulled by a red F150 but not 100% sure of that. I know that boat was only about 2 minutes ahead of me.

Be on the lookout for escaped garbage can...

Access onto the lake at Steinke Bay

Accessed at the low water ramp at Steinke and like Bauer said access was very easy. Went off the lake using Sportsmans ramp. That ramp was also very usable. Fishing was slow. A few small perch and one smelt.

Access onto the lake at Steinke Bay

Can anyone tell me how access is at Stenke Bay with a wheeled house? Havent went on there before and hate to pull up there just to find out getting back off will be a problem. Have already jack knifed my ice house once this winter at the Audubon ramp trying to get off the ice and would rather...
