    When someone tells me they don’t like the taste of elk or venison it’s too “ gamey” . My mind Immediately wants to say “ so you suck at cooking huh?” I would put a properly aged and cooked elk backstrap against beef cut any day.

    I can’t say I’ve had any issues with any guides. There is sooooooo much structure to fish in the arm that if you can’t find fish on a spot by yourself your not trying real hard

    Skunk is a hot spot. The rooster sees people come from Beulah bay on nice days… granted not guides but we make rooster runs from van hook with the in laws quite often when it’s nice out….. I think the guys from the east ramp at deep water and run up into the arm. It’s nothing to go 15 miles now...

    theres quite a few guides on western sak... their home base may not be western sak but they certainly run clients through out west . guides from DL and garrison area go "out west" for clients. and blast it over social media.

    thats the dam truth. when a guy really runs numbers on ballistic apps there is a LOT of cartridges and ammo combos that will do just fine to 600-800 yards. a guy would be better off with more range time, like you said than worrying about if he should run a berger or hornady or sierra or accubond...

    Once you run a can on short barrel you won’t go back I don’t know your guns but I wouldn’t run anything over 22” tops and prefer 18-20 barrels once you do that you won’t go back. Unless you shoot over 1000k yards I wouldn’t even worry abkut the FPS loss of a shorter barrel
