    Cheap fishin

Man, some folks... I have had pure crap fishing poles, reels. I mean the 10 dollar stuff and caught allot of fish for many years. As I have gotten older with bad shoulders and elbows, I slowly gravitated to higher end equipment. Its lighter, casts farther and relieves a bit of the stress and...

    Kicker: Tiller or Steering Wheel?

with my verado and power steering, I wish I had tiller. Drains the starting battery and because of that I always used the motor guide to steer. Never added a 2nd battery because of weight and where I had to put it. It worked ok but if I had to do over would have a tiller kicker. Even without the...

    Line Preference

Nano is my favorite for pitching or casting. Use it a lot in the spring. Hardly ever tie a leader anymore, just directly to the jig or crank bait For pulling cranks like 10 pound fire line, and 12 pound XT for pulling bouncers. I like some stretch when pulling live bait.

Bismarck Motel with secure area for boats?

Thats a gem. Much like the flying j in Fargo used to be. The Air Force put us up there for a few days. I felt lucky to have not caught bed bugs. One night a hooker was roaming the halls and puking on the walls, that was cool
