    Go with the Tru-oil. I think the oiled finishes look so much nicer. Like the Allen said, use lots of coats. You'll love the final product.

    Do your homework. From what I've read in the past chocolate labs on average live only around 10yrs vs 12 yrs for Black and Yellow and tend to have more health issues.

    The one thing about the DL tourneys is the local fishing club cleans all those fish and then has a community fish feed in the fall for the city's residents. I think it's great what they do and help with cleaning if I'm not fishing and help with the fish fry. It's great seeing all the elderly...

    Do you have any idea what they do with the money? I DO!!! It goes into maintaining and keeping up the boat ramps and cleaning stations. So, "they" don't get a bigger cut, most (if not all) of that money goes to the local clubs or agencies that maintain those boat ramps you use when you go.

    Same here. Mine's 391. I know some parts need oil, some grease, and some nothing at all or they'll gum up and won't work properly.
