    I tend to be more of a look forward than backward kind of guy but taking some occasional time to focus on memories both good and bad can be very rewarding. In the last 10 years, I left a job I hated, got laid off from one I liked and now have one that I love! Crazy how that shit works...

    Basil Hayden’s has become a favorite along with Woodford Reserve and Makers Mark. Lots of small batch stuff out there these days that are too hard to try to keep up with. KDM has a good sippin rum, I forgot the name already so he needs to share what that is so I can pick up a bottle or 3!

    The few I have caught there this year were super aggressive when attacking a buckshot with a minnow head being jigged pretty fast. A quick flash on the vex and WHAM!

    i was there on Sunday and Monday. First day was south of the main access, Monday was out on the point. Solid 10-11 inches then and it’s been pretty cold since. Your call, but I would guess it’s 12-13 or more now.

    Favorite meals.

    Ive had Mrs KDM’s bacon and eggs a couple times and he ain’t lying! For me, our special meals always consisted of a special marinated chicken, with a cheesy potato dish, salad and bread. Makes my mouth water just thinking about it.
