    Boat Tarp Repair

Need some advice on who does good boat tarp repair. The new Ranger tarp didn’t even make it a full season. I’d prefer to find someone in the Minot area, but I’d take it as far as Bismarck if that’s the best options. Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

Now we see why those Tourney Sak weights are so big

KDM, how many tournaments do you deal with on Ashtabula? I’ve never seen you so resentful to a group of sportsman. It’s not even winter yet and you’re all acting like a bunch of cabin fever whiners.

Now we see why those Tourney Sak weights are so big

You guys are taking this way too far. As always, you’re taking the behavior of a few and lumping everyone in it. Most people just enjoy the competition and accelerated learning it provides. No different than any other competitive thing of any kind. Most tournament folks are really...

    New Garage Build

If i were to build a shop tomorrow, these are my must have’s: 1. Floor drains 2. 14’ side walls minimum (I currently have 10’ and often wish I could get a camper or fish house in. 3. Lots of outlets with a few 220 4. I’d plumb airline around the whole building with 4 areas to hook a hose...

    Yellowstone

To go portable, by far your best option is to go with Dish Network. Get a tailgater antenna and either mount it on top of your RV or set it out in the lawn if you’d rather. They get service pretty easy so long as you have a fairly clear view of the southern sky.

    jigging raps

I sure wish this was true cuz I’d much prefer to use Shivers. Unfortunately we’ve never found this to be true. That said, having confidence in this style of bait is 50 percent or more of the battle.

Does a thermacell work? I put one in the boat hoping it would keep flies out too. Haven’t tried it yet.

    Buying a used wheelhouse

The inside wear on the tires is a notorious thing on ice castles. It’s not necessarily a bent axle. They just didn’t mount the axle properly to allow for typical weights. Maybe the newer ones are better.

AIM Weekend Walleye Series resumes play

80% of fish in lake sakakawea die of natural causes and were worried about the fraction of a percent that die during a tourney?

AIM Weekend Walleye Series resumes play

i posted a link to the solution above. It is the only thing research has shown has a high success rate. Fizzing is garbage, just makes people feel good they get to see the fish swim away before it dies.

    I'm addicted to Power Pro

I use a ton of power pro and suffix 832. Like them both for pitching and whatnot. Still run FireLine on my crank rods as it stills seems to cut the water better. For anyone that likes suffix 832, Daiwa makes a braid that is very comparable in feel and overall performance. I’ve been using...

    String Trimmers

Nobody needs gas anymore unless you’re using metal blades to cut brush. I have a 5 acre yard with tons of trimming and I’ve never used a full battery and mine came with two. Just get a reliable brand like Core or Dewalt in the 60 flex volt. I’ve had a Core for 4 years and it’ll cut light...
