    The Official Wentz Wagon Thread

He is going to have to suck up his pride and learn how to slide or go down on his own if he wants any longevity in his career. I can see trying to earn some respect last season. He has proven he can hang and belongs in the NFL, now he needs to start watching Brady to figure out how to keep...

Fishing tournament teams yes or no

Does the BASS circuit allow anyone to sign up? From what I have gathered following the NWT, these teams are used to help cover ground, break down water, and share patterns that work and don't work. In all the tourneys but the championship the traveling pros have to go up against some...

    AIM 2018 Lineup

I do agree with what has been said about teams and how the more connected people have a benefit. However, at this level... "weekend warrior", that is what the AIM is marketed toward right? I don't know if its the right place to ban any coordination or teams. You can make that rule, and some...

Farming Question - Weeds in Fields

Maybe related to the slow start many saw with the drought in June and July. Crops didn't grow well and form a canopy to outpace the weeds?

    Compact Tractor and Dealer Options

Yeah I have been back and forth on that as well, especially since once these projects are done I could get by with a whole lot less of a machine. However with the grading a leveling of ground in prep of turf I think I would need a tracked loader for the finishing work, to keep the ruts and...

    Compact Tractor and Dealer Options

Yeah this is why I am struggling with the mid mount mower. I know for sure the tractor will not be a long term mowing machine. When the lot development is complete I will be cutting with a zero turn. However for a year or two I will need something to cut the grass with. I could probably cut...

    Compact Tractor and Dealer Options

Good stuff, thanks guys. I would use the machine for loader work, dirt work (box blade, tiller, etc.). I need to do a lot of grading work, retaining walls, driveway base and approach, snow, and also spray weeds and mow. The biggest thing I haven't decided on yet is a mid mount mower vs...

    Compact Tractor and Dealer Options

I am looking in the 30-40hp range. I have spent a air amount of time researching the new 2017 design on the JohnDeere 2032r and 2038r. I am open to any brand and new or used. The resale value on the machines is one of the main reasons I am considering getting one. I think I could put it to...

    Compact Tractor and Dealer Options

Anyone on here own a compact tractor? John Deere, Kubota, Kioti, or thoughts on others? What about dealer experience in the ND, SD, maybe even MN area. Anyone have recommendations?

    Missouri River

happens every year around the same time... As far as fishing, hard to say. Some years the fall bite is great some years not so much. I have seen some large schools of baitfish/shad around Bismarck so that holds some promise. Usually the best fishing will be from mid to late October until freeze up.

    Type of spider?

Yeah those are great entertainment. Grew up next to a tree farm and the empty holes where trees were taken out always had these in there. They provide plenty of action for tossing various insects into there web.

Lost kids rod at New Town :p

Cool find and I see a few of those hitting the drink in the near future out of my boat. I have a 2.5 yo that likes reeling in fish, however looks like the rod is going to be dropped at any moment. Has anyone come up with a good solution to this? Floating rods? tying it to side of boat? leash...

    Need Deer Camera Recommendations

One thing to keep in mind for the majority of cameras out there are specific model numbers and years. For some reason performance and reliability of some cameras can change drastically from year to year. Just seeing "I have had great luck with Bushnell trophy cams" does not mean going out to...

    elk pack out

Kurt you seem like an ambitious guy. It might be too late for this year but next year get yourself 4-5 of these guys....

    elk pack out

I get that as being part of the hunt, and I knew that would be the answer. When you mentioned the goal or hope is to pack out a few elk through 5-7 miles that a horse, mule, or lamas cant even go then its sounds like the first two guys in the party will be the lucky ones and the other guys will...

    elk pack out

I would start looking into and calling some packers to have something lined up it needed. I take it a "few" is 3+ elk, and maybe you are going with 4 guys? If you want to spend the majority of time hunting vs. packing it might be worth paying for the service. Especially early on. Agree to...

Peta trolled in the most epic way

Saw that and thought it was pretty funny. A different thought also came across my mind and wondered if they were a step ahead and actually wanted people/hunters to do what they did. They already know they will not change any minds in the hunting community. However if a bunch kill shots (and...

    Handheld GPS Shopping

I have a Garmin Montana and owned an Oregon for 6 or so years before that. Never had any issue with either. I will say the Montana is everything I was hoping for in an improvement over the Oregon. The larger screen makes a huge difference and really makes the touch screen aspect of things...
