    Pheasant Numbers Up

Rain drowned them out. No pheasants around the Mott area so might as well not even make a trip out there. LOL

    Aluminum vs Fiberglass

In a perfect world, I'd have a 16-17 ft aluminum boat for smaller lakes and a 20 ft glass boat for the bigger bodies of water with good ramps. This is my plan exactly! I already have the 17.5 ft aluminum bass tracker. Someday, I will own a nice glass boat. Have to wait a few years though, haha.

Shallow Divers or Less Line Out?

That is the method I use. I don't like long lining because I can make sharper, quicker turns with any style crankbait. I feel like they stay in the strike zone longer as well.

The Times New Roman font for basically the whole page is an outdated font that looks lazy and basic.

    Installing Boat Rail Tubing

I found some. Just haven't decided on 7/8" or 1" tubing. Hoping for advice from someone with more knowledge than me. I will be using Scotty brand rail mounts.

    Installing Boat Rail Tubing

Thanks for the reply. I think I would prefer 7/8" or 1" tubing though. I am leading more towards the 1" to clamp down tighter on and prevent slipping.

    Installing Boat Rail Tubing

Yes, sub those would work if in 7/8" diameter. What site did you find that sells them like that? Also curious about precautions that need to be taken when drilling and fastening. Would silicone application on all drilled areas be enough?

    Installing Boat Rail Tubing

I want to install two 3' sections of 7/8" stainless steel tubing to make railings on the port and starboard sides towards the stern for mounting rod holders. I don't want to flush mount. The tubing will not have a bend in it. I'm curious what type of bases or fittings I need to make this install...

Power Pro, Fire Line or ???

Fireline for pitching and pulling cranks. Powerpro for vertical jigging, slipping, and bottom bouncers.

    What's your go to?

I love to pitch whether that be jig/minnow before ice off in rivers, jig/plastic or lipless cranks in the spring, or lipped cranks in the summer.
