    300 win mag ammo

I dont know what kind of speed you can get out of a 300 WM but my 308 W shoots the 110 grain barnes TTSX at 3300fps at the muzzle. Its deer dynamite basically. I wouldnt use it on elk or moose probably.

    Tire Question

I should have mentioned on 4x4 vehicles, as mentioned above, you dont wnat different sized tires. Really the most economical option for your mom is to go to a place that keeps and sells used tires and have them replace the damaged tire with one that is the SAME or nearly same circumference.

In the recipe I made, I actually substituted honey for the sugar it required... but it wasnt much, only a few grams.

    Tire Question

This must be an AWD, if its FWD, just put the new tire on the rear, if its RWD put the new tire on the front. Best bet is to find a used tire that is the same size and the same CIRCUMFERENCE. Thats where the real problem comes from, if you have 3 tires that 100 inches around and you put a new...

Hanging deer - head up or down?

Why you didnt make this a poll is beyond me. Of course the proper way to do it is head down, just ask any butcher how they hang their carcasses... Try hanging a BLACK-tailed deer by its head and post it online, you are risking some serious racist accusations!

Here is what happened after I mixed the oils with the lye solution and it was heated for a while. Here is what the resulting soap looks like, no artificial colors were added. I did add some ground oatmeal and ground activated charcoal to provide grit for increased exfoliation effect. I...

    Making deer soap?

Here is a recipe that was shared with me on facebook that is supposed to be good... Gives you an idea of what values are good for the different attributes that soap can have, provides a "normal" range... Making deer soap?

Who would have guessed soap can be so complicated... Here is a calculator for those interested, gotta tweak the types of oils you use to get the results you want. Im using 50% deer lard, along with olive, avacado, and coconut oil. My first batch I think is kinda a flop. I tried to hot process...

Afraid to go in the water

little snappers are great snacks for a lot of other animals, like most turtles, not many survive Id guess... Also little snappers tend to stay near the bottom of lakes/rivers, hiding in the mud or rocks. Ive found a few newborns, but I was looking for them...
