    Lake Pollution

Kinda. Full disclosure here, my father in law has a cabin in MN in the north woods and I would never leave if it were an option so I know this is a bit hypocritical. A guy looks at beautiful secluded lake in MN and thinks to himself, "I should put a cabin here, what a beautiful place." So he...

    Lake Pollution

COMMENTARYFrom runoff to ruin: The undoing of Minnesota's lakes If 75 percent of a lakeshore remains mainly forested, the chance of maintaining lake quality is good. But when natural cover falls below 60 percent, lakes begin to deteriorate. — BRIAN PETERSON • brianp@startribune.com By RON WAY...

    What do you do?

Haha. I can't speak for Guy, but I spend precisely 0 time in a lab if that is what you think. I'm the guy that pulls the samples, gets them to the lab, and then explains the results to the clients to try to keep them in compliance. It involves a lot of time outside, sometimes on a boat, and just...

    Handheld GPS units

Really liking my plain 64. Color screen, actual buttons, very fast satellite acquisition. Only difference between the 64 and 64s is that the 64 doesn't have an altimeter and compass. Plug in a Trax map and you are good to go.

    What do you do?

Is that designed for petroleum products or can you find delineate other things like fertilizer and brine water spills? I am thinking a magnetometer might help me with brine water spills because the salt changes the soil structure and the magnetometer should pick up the density change.

    Bismarck/Mandan Archery Shop

With all due respect to Scheels, I do like their store and they take care of the customer, they seem like they just want to sell their stuff and get you out the door. I hear rumors about a "Doug's Archery Shop" but I'm not sure he even exists (Doug, if you are out there, speak up!) . With...
