    That's how I do it. One split with sonar/ds. One with gps. The gps one has its own transducer, though, so I have a backup.

    Heard of 2 reports now of people falling through. One with a sled, and one with a side by side. Ice went from 3'+ to nadda.

    I've played around with all 3 bits now. I agree that the quantum blades are the fastest. Chipper has its place, but much slower.
