    April Snowpocalypse

Very selfishly, I wish this was all N of Hwy 2 so Devils Lake could rise about 4'. Plus those folks in southern SD and northern NE already got a pretty good beat-down/wash-out by Ma Nature this year.

    April Snowpocalypse

Its an odd combo a guy needs for spring Turkeys in ND. Snow-camo with tick repellant.

    Prop shaft straightening

Put a new shaft in or you'll be eating bearings, letting water in and wrecking the lower unit.

No trade straight purchase Luther in Fargo is hard to beat.

What is your best photos for the year so far

I’ve only used Canon DSLR bodies, that’s because any Canon DSLR body will pretty much take any Canon DSLR lens. I have 2 “L” series Canon lenses. 24-105 for “general use”, and 100-400 when I want to take wildlife pics. The batteries that come w/Canon bodies last for about 374748383648 shots...

    Keep it sparkly!

Wiping it down right away is a good plan. 50/50 Vinegar and water if you want to get rid of spots and any build-up once it's dry. If it gets a lot of buildup I use orange turtle wax paste heavy duty rubbing compound on a variable speed polisher and then a good carnauba wax over that.

    Must feel real good

The towns the fielded teams in the tourney in question are all significantly smaller than Mo-Town.

    Must feel real good

Fast-Forward 10yrs to when some of those small-town kids own enough land in their own name to have a gratis tag every fall, then see who's whistlin' Dixie!

    Must feel real good

3-4 more years all those kids from small towns who took a whoopin' @ this B-Ball tourney will be killing bigger deer than the kids on the traveling team from Bismarck, then the shoe will be on the other foot.

    Youth Rifle - Rimfire

Started out pink, has since been painted a shiny Navy blue. Some irreplaceable bonding time can be had for the mere price of a can of Krylon and then the time to spray said Krylon onto what amounts to a piece of molded Tupperware plastic.

    Long range scope suggestions

https://athlonoptics.com/product/cronus-10x50-rangefinding-binocular-p/ In the specifications they show 19.3MM worth of eye relief, they'll work well for glasses wearers. Good call on showing "deer" vs. reflective target ranging capability. Setting a customer's expectation is a good thing...

Kiddo 1 has a Savage Rascal. Henry would be just as good.

    Long range scope suggestions

    For $1600 budget I'd find a used/demo Nightforce 3.5-15 or 5.5-22. Here's one: https://www.24hourcampfire.com/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php/topics/13702775/nightforce-nxs-5-5-22x50-w-moar-reticle-c433#Post13702775

    spring snows

Drove from Rapid City to Pierre to Sioux Falls yesterday. Didn't see any snow geese (yes, I was driving during daylight). Drove from Sioux Falls to Fargo today. Saw 2 flocks of Canadas that had just a few snows mixed in.

    Frozen in Ice Castle ideas?

I watched the video on the last page showing the big house w/hydraulics, etc. There's one thing I don't understand about that setup. Why on earth isn't there a fishing hole you can access from the shitter?

    Frozen in Ice Castle ideas?

I haven't a clue how this stuff works, only a couple questions. 1. Are the hydraulics to raise/lower the wheels the same lines that run to the hitch? 2. Isn't there some sort of a pin or lock that would ensure the hitch and wheels stayed in the trailering position? If so, one would think...

    North Dakota has worst drivers

I'm happy I was able to drive in MT during the "Safe and Prudent" period of the late 90's. But, I'm sad that period has ended.
