    DLVFD Tournament/Raffle

Yep boogey, you're right. The difference is that when I get cold while ice fishing, I can cry and moan and wail, and stomp my feet.

Darned right. First time (last year) I ever left before the end. I got tix yesterday.

My 2015 Badlands Trip (pic heavy)

Great job on the pics DM. I don't hunt, but the scenery nearly makes me want to take it up. After the divorce, I'd have plenty of free time.

Chili, one of my many favorites

Have a great recipe for jambalaya, if anyone's interested. Not chili, but a hearty savory stew-ish concoction. Lotta chopping, but that's often a hallmark of a great dish.

Chili, one of my many favorites

Longest hundred miles of your career? Planes Trains and Automobiles: Trooper: You boys think, uh, this vehicle is road-worthy? John Candy: Well officer, I know she's not much to look at, but surprisingly, the radio still works. Notice I didn't use quotes. You get the gist...

Chili, one of my many favorites

Yeah, thanks for warning me. I could have shut my windows. How many pairs of skivvies did this cost you again? Was it 2? 2.5?

    Another new guy

Welcome, and good luck! Fall is upon us, and the fishing should only improve in the next couple months.

Bear Attack Thwarted by Fist Down the Throat

    This made my face laugh.

    Please join me in welcoming.........

Terrific pics and story. Congratulations to you both. I hope you show her the well-wishes from guys (and gals maybe) here. My daughters are pretty close to the same age as yours, and they love to see their pictures on here (and read the comments, with my supervision). I don't hunt, so...

    Time for a change....

Buddy of mine, who works on phone calls all day, said he's kind of kept track of some of the more humorous names of black women. Said he's talked to a few LaShondra's, and Shaniqua's, but is still waiting for someone to call with the name "Noxzeema". Makes me laugh every time.

    Breast awareness month

Jeez guys. I know it's cloudy and windy out, but it's not the end of the earth. The guy tried to explain himself. My wife had cancer too. Doesn't give me the right/duty to bristle at every cancer post.

I'm new! I don't know what to do!

As a walleye caster, I welcome the bass-man. I saw a sticker once, for fly-fishing (which I have thought of taking up on more than one occasion), that read: "If it were easy, we'd call it trolling"

    Escape Plan

I think I just loaded my shorts watching the video. Can't imagine if I was on that bike. I'm kind of a timid feller though. I'd be all muscles if I was in a helicopter. If that's a hoax (which I guess it probably is) then it's a good one.

    split grip or traditional?

Standard rod is what I'm accustomed to, and I'm good with them. Cast a lot. I feel like weight loss in the reel might make more of a difference than a 1/2 oz of cork.

    Benefits

My family has insurance through my wife's employer, and they cover the premiums at 100%. The deductible is (I believe) $500 per person with a cap at $2000 per family (which is the same thing, since we have four people in the family). We were offered to go with HDHP + HSA, and it's attractive...

    Walleye Skin Wallet

That's really gay. Not to brag about appearing gay, but I may have you beat. Used to ride bike (the 10-speed road-bike variety) with those lycra biker shorts under multi-color bermudas. That was awfully gay. The ironic part is that I thought I'd pick up chicks. On a bike. In spandex...

    Walleye Skin Wallet

Dirtymike actually uses a teal fanny-pack. Wears it on one side, like a gunslinger. I saw it in his garage once.

    Women ideas!!!

Exact same thing happened to me, about 3 years ago, when we moved within Bismarck. Then I woke up and started working. Juanner, where are you moving to?

List of things NOT to Google:

Used to work with a woman who was the (seriously) kindest woman I ever met. Never hurt a fly. Sweet and nice to everybody. She was quite the gardener. (this was probably 20 years ago, when people were just learning how to use the interwebz) Came to work one day and said she had tried to...
