Wife and I were fishing van hook by shell village when one came swimming up to the boat , I grabbed the oar and was going to .... And my wife freaked out said words she had never said before so I had to quit. We were trolling and it tried to follow us for quite a ways, It was tired and a...
You guys that are planning trips , This is a pretty cool wind and weather forecast map. Look ahead at the projections and see hour by hour what to expect. Update how accurate it is.

Power wise It isn't so much the weight that your pulling as it is the wind resistance , I can haul tractors at speed limit in overdrive without a problem with my 5.0 ford but hook it up to my 14' V nose enclosed trailer that is light as a feather on a windy day and I can't run in OD.
That might have to be another thread in it's own . I saw a dodge try to pull a ford once, It went something like this. I have an 04 ford 6.0 that would pull either one of dbs Dodges around until he said uncle. That is a fact. :D
If this was my old Lund I'd for sure notch out a bigger access hole to bilge area and make a cover for it. On mine you have to have to crawl under the splash pan and feel your way around a little hole. Then I'd put a float switch for the bilge pump under it if you leave your boat on the...
Might consider putting in a wash-down pump when you have it tore apart if you go with vinyl flooring, On those hot days its fun to have water fights and cool off. The bonus is you always have clean boat and won't be swatting flies the next day.
I made a dirt bit for my early 80s jiffy 30 and drilled monitoring wells and soil testings inside barriers. Still use it for fishing , Those buggers are probably tougher than Chuck Norris and DBs Dodge put together.
