    Canted Scope Reticle?

    Unless you've an EFR riflescope that allows parallax adjustment down to 50', a straight line @ 15yds doesn't really allow one to level a scope due to parallax. It'll get you close, close enough for most hunting situations, but, not close enough based upon the OP's initial question.

    I said the same thing, 'til I used one. They work sans plumb line or any other doodads. I made all the "Rubber band?, you gotta be shittin' me. How do you know the rifle's level?" and any other mechanical argument one can make, then I used one, they just work.

    It was either '07 and '08 or '08 and '09 where both years there were MAJOR blizzards over pheasant opener weekend. Not that I want a blizzard in Oct but 2'-3' of snow and 40MPH winds for 2-3 days might cause more than a few to lose interest.
