    They were doing that from just about day one. I would imagine the good stuff gets picked through a bit more each day. I know the jewelry area was busy as hell a week ago. I guess 70% off does that to jewelry. Highest I've seen on tools though is a 20% discount.

    If you are in Bismarck, run up to Sears. Last time I was in there they had a drill/driver combo (two tools) along with a pair of batteries and charger for about $20 more than what I had just paid for two of their 20V batteries at Lowes about five days earlier. Not that I needed new drills...

    My girlfriend has one of those glass domed versions. It works great for bacon, what more do you need? Also does well for chicken if you're on a diet.

    Not a boat mechanic, but since it was in the upper 80s to lower 90s that day, I am familiar enough with the properties of water to be sure it didn't freeze. If I were to guess though, I'd say it was probably a connecting rod that came loose.

    I've seen that stated before on other sites. The truth is, more than a couple of them were accidental firearm discharges involving LEOs, some were weapons brought to school and not used, some were targeted vendettas, and a small handful were actual people with ill intent on a larger scale.
