That's why I don't walk.for deer but I guess the country a person hunts in might dictate that. All the deer I have shot have not even known that I was present.
I don't know I will get a pick of it. The writing on the action seems Austrian or German. Grandpa shot nra small bore with it. My grandma tells me he must of passed the shooting gene down to me. Wish he lived longer I was only 8 when he passed but still remember shooting and hunting with him.
I'm partial to my grandpa's .218bee he got built back in the 50's with the unterl scope. Breach loading sweet little gun but the extractor broke and need to get it fixed
I load for a couple. The 117 sierra game kings it kills. I would never buy one but thats just me. I like the 6mm,6.5 and 7mm they just do every thing a little bit better.
The 168 amax out of a .308 will kill to 600 i used to shoot that but going to the creed the .308 is like a prius racing a ss nova. The 140 amax and some h4350 right of the box from hornady and good to go. It was one of the easiest load development i have ever done
