    Best gun cleaner

Simple Green did adequate on my M-4 more than once. Even with a patch inspection. - - - Updated - - - I was gentle with the bore for nine+ yrs and prone groups reflected this. I never understood scrubbing a bore with a copper dissolving solvent and a copper brush. That's a recipe for a damn...

    17 hmr ?

Capt, Good post. Never even thought to consider anything other than Hornady or CCI. Also, no experience with the soft point rd. My above posts are truthful and from five year old experiences. I believe what I said still holds water. - - - Updated - - - Within 100 the 20grn kills fine with...

    Knee injury

If it were me I'd take the above advice plus quality supplements and aspirin to stave blood clots. I hate to see that, especially at this peak time of year. Here's to quick recovery without re-hab.

    17 hmr ?

Sorry, from my vicarious experience, all loads and bullet types are consistent and should group within a dime @ 100. No data on the souped up velocity offering(s) (not talking about the .17 wssm). - - - Updated - - - They are quite the sexy little minx.

    17 hmr ?

A caveat: The dude may have been lucky to get such a gun. Also the whole setup weighs near 10 lbs and I'll bet the bore has never been cleaned (stainless model). All loads group well within a dime @ 100 (same POA within superior hunting tolerances). As I write this, I wonder how long this can...

    17 hmr ?

Buddy in SC has a Marlin bull bbl bolt action. 100 yrd zero puts all loads within the same group. The 20 grn FMJ is great for small game and the plastic tips blow shit up. Don't believe the BS on utube about squirrels running off when hit with the FMJ. Clean hole, dead as a hammer. I'd love...

    22 LR Ammo

Additional reading has weakened my prejudice within standard chamber measurement and standard twist (1/16) . My group standard has always been achieved with a 40grn slug @50. IMO lighter bullets are usually economical for the factory and a novelty for the shooter.

    22 LR Ammo

Never shot that variety. Their subsonics group well for me. Never heard anything negative about Aguila ammo. Consistency is the keyword IMHO. Lots of good stuff on utube.

    shotgun and new ammo~

.50 BMG never had a rim. Some obscure BP case? I guess BMG could work with careful breech closing and a ramrod. - - - Updated - - - Turkeys are not made of titanium. Pattern is the key. You don't have to get your head kicked off launching a lb of shot. A low brass AA 7.5 skeet load may...

    22 LR Ammo

If you ever see RWS 40grn HV HP grimace a bit and pay up. Beautiful ammo. Groups as well out of my bolt gun as CCI Target or Eley Club (quite the price gap there!). Chiming in because IME/O 36grn loads are shit in a few ways no matter the brand and stock automatics prefer higher pressure of...
