    Father’s Day

    I had a good day. Wanted to go fishing but the rain scared me off. We went out fishing on Friday at Audubon and did ok for the evening. Bought a new car on Saturday and spent today relaxing before the work week starts. Heading out the door for an evening walk to cap the night off.

    I have a 2019 Lund Adventure 1675 sport. During the break in procedures I noticed that anytime I got above 3000 rpms there would be a stream of water shoot up on the side that the transducer is on. What do you think could be causing this? Here is what I am talking about:

    Trolling motor shaft length

    Got a hold of the shipper and my motor has already been shipped. So, I can either immediately return the motor or try the motor out and see how it does and if I'm unhappy I'll just have to sell it and buy the right length. Not ideal but it's my fault and I'm willing to try to see if it will work.

    I made a mistake and accidentally ordered a 60 inch shaft instead of a 72 inch shaft for my Lund adventure. Is a 72 inch shaft absolutely needed? Or, will I be able to get by with the 60 inch shaft?
