Its bad in 3A3 like posted above, I live in Garrison and spotted at least 6 in my pheasant travels north and west yesterday. A GNF source I visited with found 5 in one area while hunting and said all were dead in the last 48hrs. He mentioned to me about the GNF Mortality Report and asked to...

    Mystery Post

I would say old telecom cable marker, we use that format. SS=Route out of town 330S=Pedestal Number LP6B = Load Point 6B 156N = Township I bet if you dug around the base you would find some old copper cables cut off.

    Must have Pontoon accessories

Thanks for the suggestions guys, all very helpful. Time is what he wants most, why he went so big so all of us can be on it with him. Just looking for something to put the finishing touches on it. Boat hook and bumpers will probably be near the top of the list.

Sak - Off the Beaten Path

The Game and Fish ramp at the east end of the bay is really nice to use and involves much much less gravel. Just be careful through the maze if its your first time. Once you are out past all the islands you are golden.

Sak - Off the Beaten Path

The community points can all be very good this time of year. Beacon, the kisses (just east of Beacon) Pepsi Point, Goat Island. The south shore also produces well at different times like Red Butte Bay, the pumphouse (water intake along shore) etc. I would find it hard to believe you couldn't...

    2020 governors cup

I agree, but with the restrictions the government (GNF) has put in place, they are making it impossible to hold these events while putting the pressure on the Tournament Committee to be the bad guy. This so in brings my issue. Quit attacking the volunteers. They are being forced into handling...

    2020 governors cup

Some of you really have no freaking clue what goes into planning a tournament and it shows. Further more, the ones of you calling a tournament board pansies and pussies really have no business being in a fishing tournament as you do not exemplify what anglers are. I am not associated with the...

    Wireless Trollmaster 3 question

I had the Pro3, I do not anymore, here are my opinions: - Battery life sucks, since the units is not rechargeable make sure you have lots of AA batts in the glovebox. This was probably my biggest complaint with the Pro3. If it didn't die while I was using it, it was dead when I needed to use it...

    Open Water 2020

Drove around Audubon last night. North Lake and east end embankment area are wide open, boats fishing it and using the cabin site ramp. No ice in sight from the cabin site ramp. I did not drive down into 3 mile as we had just gotten a pretty good shower. Down at Totten Trail, the only visible...

    Open Water 2020

Big lake is looking better and better! Wont be long now! Audubon main lake will be a little while yet. The shore lines are tearing away but there is still a heavy ice sheet out there.

    Open Water 2020

Negative ghost rider, these north and west winds are keeping all of the ice pushed to this end. According to the Satellite imagery for yesterday there looks to be a pretty massive hole opening up in the ice in the area between Ft Stevenson and the Dam. You can launch a boat in DeTrobriand...

    Open Water 2020

This imagery is from the 9th, as it was the only clear enough day, but it looks like Alk is still iced over. Vollmer has some great links in the resources tab at the top, on the left hand side scroll down to the bottom to the "up to date satellite imagery" and click the worldview link. You can...

    Big Muddy Tournament Date

SO, now SDMF will get to find out on his weekend "non-tournament" fishing days that it really wasn't the "not numbered" tournament boats that created his hatred after all.....

    Open Water 2020

Either the "rona" has me missing my days as they all seem to blur together anymore or open water is coming quite quickly with this wind we have been dealing with. The lake is in great shape already! I have floated my Yar-Craft 209TFX on the big lake already this season. The biggest hinderance is...

    Big Lake

I partnered up with North Country Marine in Garrison and am running a 2020 Yar-Craft 209TFX. So far very amazed with this boat. I got to play with her a bit on Thursday night and again yesterday. There is plenty of open water you just have to find it!

    Big Lake

I think you would be able to get a jon boat in at these places: - Old marina at Ft Stevenson (east side) - Definitely the OWL learning site shore access. I live just south of it and Garrison bay is wide open from the cabins north. - Douglas Bay North Arm Ramp - I would have to think West Totten...

    Big Lake

I was out in the arm at douglas, the north ramp area last night. There is more than enough open shore to shore fish. Especially today after this wind. The northern area of Garrison Bay is also a good place right now as far as open water. There is a shoreline access area 1mi south of the Cenex in...
