    Verado trim ?

As far as the boat goes I really like it. Wish it had more storage but it's a family boat so knew there was going to be a compromise with some things like that. Handles big water much better than the 1850 tyee I had. Most of my fishing is on LOW.

    Verado trim ?

I can't help you with your issue but I have a 2012 Reata 1850 RS with a 150 verado. Just curious what you get for top speed? I'm at about 41-42 loaded with a couple guys. Once I hit 45 with just me and almost no fuel. Hole shot is decent though. Tempest 19P

    Its Turkey Time

Made a few scouting trips and it paid off. Knew right where they were roosting and where they go in the morning. Was a cold and windy opener but I was toasty warm in my blind and the birds did exactly what they were supposed to do. I love it when a plan works like it should.

    Landing net

I will never own a Frabill product because I absolutely can not stand John Gillespie. I can barely even choke down a Johnsonville brat because of that dipshit.

    Transporting fish/waiting to fillet

I make a few trips each winter to Lake Winnipeg and I usually only keep fish to bring home on the last day of fishing since I dont have a good place to clean them up there and I also dont want to be hassled at the border. Sure enough, we'll catch nice eaters the whole trip and throw them back...

    Lake Winnipeg reports?

Yes, you can still get live minnows and yes, you need to dump them before leaving the lake. Don't wast your loonies on them, salties work just as good in my experience.

    Lake Winnipeg reports?

Like MM said, rough ice. Closer to the mouth there are huge areas of rough piled up ice. I've made two trips so far. First was early december and caught a bunch of nice eaters but no big ones. Second was early january and struggled to find fish but got a 27" and 29". I might fish Sunday. Weather...

    2020 Open Water - I'm Ready...Already

in about a month I'll move the boat from the storage shed to the heated garage. Then I'll sit in it in the evenings and drink beer for a couple more months until the ice melts.

info on one man flip over shacks

I had a clam kenai pro thermal and recently upgraded to the otter hideout. Both are nice as the poles don't extend, just flip it and you're done. The otter is a bit heavier but is built much better and has more room. It's also more money.

Guys, PLEASE PLEASE be cautious this year.

I was on Lake Winnipeg yesterday and a truck with a large camper partially broke through and one truck went down and another trucks ass end dropped in when a crack formed near the landing at Balsam bay. Quite the shit show. everyone made it out safely thankfully. 16-18" of ice.
