    Just guessing but... Would guess most don't carry a rangefinder and if they do, MOST won't pickup a coyote at 300 yards:;:sorry A 22-250 ( as a coyote) rifle is a 350 yard cartridge for the average Joe!

    No need for anything over 9 x on a 22-250. It's a 350 yard cartridge. Nikon( without the stupid circles), vortex diamond back, leoupold vx2, redfielld. Any of those will be fine for coyotes without breaking the bank.

    The older ( wiser) I get, the less I use ANY scent. Tried most everything over the years and can say I've only killed one good buck using scent. Young bucks when in the mood will follow most any urine based trail. Old does can really freak out over an odd smell.

    Skinning deer with an air compressor

    Skinning a deer can be done way quicker by cutting from asshole to the chin than back of skull down the back to base of tail. Ring the neck and pull the hide off in 2 pieces. Way faster!

    Nothing in nature is set in stone. Seen 20 year old Bear dress 200# and seen 7 year olds dress 500#. last year I shot an 8 year old buck I'd been trying to kill for 4 years. Judging by the 1000's of pics I had of him over the years, I doute he ever was 220# on the hoof at his prime. Guessing...

    Spend a bit more and use treated ply. No need to paint. Use MUD!, Real gooey mud. Rub it in. Lasts for years and has a natural camo no paint can match ( really),. Been doing it for years.
