    Find a Polaris 500 and go. Dead reliable. Short track will be fine unless you are pulling heavy heavy loads, in which case you’ll want a true utilty sled with low gear. Skandics and VK’s fit that bill but are hard to find.

    My dog had very similar issues late this summer. Took three rounds of medicine to clear it out. Vet didn’t really know what to do. Happy she pulled out of it.

    Is the bird flu thick again this year? It was bad late season last year. We found a half chewed in still alive goose in the middle of the prairie a week or so ago. Bird flu was what I figured.

    I agree it’s all situational. I bought mine due to kids, but have enjoyed just setting up and relaxing. And honestly I don’t think I’m catching any less staying vs running and gunning. But I’m still using the ol FL8, maybe with this fancy live imaging the run and gun would be the way to go!

    Fastest walleye boat?

    Is the old standard of hp/10=gph of fuel burned at WOT accurate with the new motors. My “old” F200 is on par with that, just a touch less maybe 18-19 gallons per hour WOT.

    I haven’t tried the V-Rod. Mostly Heddon Sonars or the Johnson baits. I’ve been trying to get more Vibratos but they are out of stock everywhere.
