    I get the call on the boat. I told the wife if she helps me launch and recover, she can help choose a boat. Guess what. And I've done two tournaments in my life, both this year. Not that big of a deal. Plus, I said 10-30 years. That kid better be done with college by then.

    Just because they're not in the tournament doesn't mean they can't fish next to a pro. If the pro wanted the spot to himself bad enough, he could always motor over and explain his situation. A couple of "free guide days" coupons might be a good idea.

    You know I'm kidding. I spoke out of jealousy. I'm one good wind gust away from being clean shaven most days. I suppose it worked out for me in boot camp as I didn't have to shave one time.

    I try to look as scruffy as possible when I enter Target. People tend to pull their kids away from the "homeless looking man" so I can get my things and get out.

    We got the dog in December and Ghost made a joke that a kid won't be too far behind. I scoffed and said no way. Ghost was right. Wife is due January 8th with a baby boy. On a good note, she said I didn't have to sell my boat. I didn't think that was an option anyway.
