    Glad you got a few anyway...as for the Lowrance mapping, I use the Navionics chip in my Lowrance Hook2...download the updates every month or so. For the east end and Audubon, the Navionics chip is very good. However, I've found it is not nearly as detailed for the west end.

    Guy...didn't see your post earlier this week...sorry. The last week or so I've fished north side of Mallard Island 3 times pulling cranks in 16 to 22 fow...caught lot's of nice eater size fish. East end has turned on nicely the last 2 weeks...hope you guys have a great weekend!

    ^Nice man...looks little breezy Sat & Sun too...nothing like a nice hot wind to get you focused on the fish! Tomorrow looks gorgeous...light winds/comfortable temps. Sadly I've got a shingle date with my garage/workshop...gonna be a long day!

    Looks like temps in the 90s both Saturday and Sunday...so where do you draw the line for heat and heading out in the boat? Even with a decent breeze, I don't like being out on a bright sunny day above 80 degrees.

    Yup...been keeping a spreadsheet for both open water and ice fishing since 2015. Just the basics from each trip out...location, water temp or ice thickness, bait used, what worked/what didn't...just general info.

    Next time you have someone in the boat with you, get up to wot...check speed...then have passenger move to the stern...sitting down for safety...check speed...might surprise you!

    So I've got a 2019 Lund 1875 Impact XS with the Merc 150Pro XS...best speed I've gotten with less than half a tank of gas and 1 man in boat@ 185 pounds (I'm down to 176pds now btw)... is 49.4 mph gps indicated...flat lake...little wind. Odd thing first thing in the morning...same...
