    Anyone use navionics app ice fishing?

    download the map as in select the area and wait a few seconds until that area turns bright? So if I did this for lake winnipeg and then go up there this winter it will work even though i will have my data turned off? GPS still works and it will show my location and let me mark locations.

    Clam makes a nice sized one that is quite durable. Folds up small. I always have a grain shovel that stays in the back of the truck all winter.

    357 revolver?

    I have a ruger GP100. Nice gun. I mostly shoot 38's through it. When I let me friends shoot it I like to load five 38's and then the last one a 357. It gets there attention! S & W 686 is a dandy as well.

    drill a hole not quite all the way threw the ice at a bit of an angle away from stuck vehicle. take about a 3' piece of 4x4 and put it in the hole and attach winch/come-along cable to it at ice level. when done, make sure to drill the hole the rest of the way threw so someone doesnt break a leg...

    how much are they asking? If you fish in water deeper than 20' do your self a favor and get the 18 (or any other model that has the zoom feature)
